Fellow Christians, what verse in the Bible says that atheists hate God?

I know about the verse that says Psalm 14:1, "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." That's the only verse I can really think of. Is it in Romans 1, when it talks about how they don't even want to retain the Lord in their knowledge (although, Romans 1 seems to be addressing primarily sodomites).

The Bible says very clearly that you are either for God or you are against him either you will love one master and cling to him or you will love the other master and cling to him. There is no middle ground here. If you don't love God you hate him by default.

There is no verse in the Bible that says that. Atheist are people too, the only thing that atheist have in common for sure is their unbelief in God, except for that they are all individuals, with their own unique personalities just as does all human beings. And though we may all have many things in common there are no two people who are exactly alike.

None really. It does mention "God haters" (Rom 1:30), but doesn't specify that they are atheists.

From a practical standpoint, probably 99% of those who act like they can't stand God, are athee-evo types that frequent forums like this one. Therefore many see the two going hand in hand.

The term atheist is not used in the bible .....the term "fool" is used in it's place.

The ultimate description of a fool is one who “says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good” (Psalm 14:1; 53:1). Although fools can choose to become wise by heeding wise counsel and applying it (Proverbs 8:5; 21:11), the Bible warns against associating with fools (Proverbs 14:7). Proverbs 13:20 says, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”

Romans 1:18:32

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

What God requires is offensive to atheists. So much is this true that atheists fail to see the relevance. It seems slight and unmeaningful. What the atheists are doing by denying this thing so ridiculous and trivial in their atheist minds is that they are calling God a liar. . . . I mean, setting aside all those times atheists actually are accusing God of a great many terrible things.

example:

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

― Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

Not that Richard Dawkins is an actual atheist.

edit: It is common for Christians to misinterpret and mis-analyze Romans 1 to say it is about "sodomites". It is actually about a particular group of people, who, "21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened." It is not about homosexuality, though they did matriculate to that. It is about people who abandoned God, who therefore gave them over to something referred to as a reprobate mind. The trouble began for them in Romans 1:21. Christians skip that part in their traditional disrespect for God's word.

The bible assumes that Atheists give some validity to the 'gods' and teaches hate to those who interpret the bible.

either you serve GOD or you work against HIM.

how unclear is this?

most here (atheists) detest GOD and HIS WAYS.

more often than not they say this or let it slip.

they say HE is a monster.

HE abuses children and adults alike.

HE died on the cross.

this disproves their silly suppositions.

so we can have forgiveness for our mistakes. *if we ask*

they have an agenda.

its filled with rainbows and all the pretty colors that go with it.

they enjoy sin.

they help it along.

is this love for GOD?

quite the opposite.

since you ask

2Ti 3:1 ¶ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

You are looking at the wrong part of Romans 1

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

That being said, it does not say that they hate God. That is just what we observe
